This Privacy Policy explains what personal information is collected on melaniaromanelli.com (the "Site"), why it is collected, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Melania Romanelli ("we", "us").

Information you give us

  • Email address — when you sign up for a free resource, the 7-Day Sleep Reset, or the newsletter.
  • Contact details and message content — when you write to us by email or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site and which pages they read. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not build profiles of individuals. Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as IP addresses for security and to deliver the Site.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To send the resource you requested and related emails — on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit the form.
  • To reply to your messages — on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • To keep the Site secure and working — on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Who processes your data

  • AWeber — email marketing platform that stores subscriber data and sends our emails.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and privacy-first analytics.
  • YouTube (Google) — some pages embed videos. We use the privacy-enhanced mode, but if you press play, Google may receive data about you under its own privacy policy.

These providers may process data in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is retained only as needed to honour your opt-out and to comply with our legal obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable format. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
